Today I will show you how to install OpenVPN on an Ubuntu Server.
First of all
You’ll need a fully updated machine.
use the following commands
For 64 bit servers use the following commands:
sudo wget http://swupdate.openvpn.org/as/openvpn-as-2.0.7-Ubuntu12.amd_64.deb
dpkg -i openvpn-as-2.0.7-Ubuntu12.amd_64.deb
For 32 bit servers use the following commands :
sudo wget http://swupdate.openvpn.org/as/openvpn-as-2.0.7-Ubuntu12.i386.deb
dpkg -i openvpn-as-2.0.7-Ubuntu12.i386.deb
You have just installed OpenVPN Server ! congratulations ! now let’s go for the setup .
Change your openvpn admin password by typing this command on SSH Session
sudo passwd openvpn
Now if you want to access your server and download the configuration file, you’ll have to do it via OpenVPN Web Interface.
